A simple and comfortable hotel tucked away in a century-old oak forest.
The place is lovely, water and pure air.
The story
The Sardinian people, a people that came last to modern civilisation and have now advanced to first, have something profoundly human and new to reveal to themselves and to others.
Emilio Lussu
We are a cooperative of Oliena men and women, an important group of alternative thinking. S'Enis, the name we have chosen for the hotel, means 'yew tree' in the Sardinian language , a very hardy conifer that grows at high altitude.
S'Enis is a collective enterprise that has invested into regenerating a beautiful place, that risked falling into decay and neglect, to restore it to its former glory for the enjoyment of all. A project of difficult beginnings, to which we have committed ourselves with joy and tenacity for 35 years, in the hope of sharing our happiness with you too, and if we do not always succeed in achieving the perfection we aspire to, we can at least offer satisfying harmony.

It's very easy to find the hotel. When you reach Oliena set the navigator to Viale Sardegna, where you will pick up the signposting for S'Enis Monte Maccione.
