Environment and Locality

The wild and unspoilt natural environment is an undoubted highlight of Oliena and the surrounding Barbagia area.
The hotel is the starting point of numerous fantastic hiking trails, both for guided hikes and adventurous freedom walkers.
Free climbers can enjoy the imposing natural rock face standing behind the hotel.
The limestone walls of Corrasi furrowed with grand gorges such as the Gorroppu canyon, the deepest in Europe, the monumental Sa Oche cave, the wild oak and juniper forests, the Lanaitho valley with the ancient Nuragic villages of Carros and Tiscali, the crystal clear waters of Su Gologone spring, the clear river Cedrino form the natural setting of many memorable destinations.
In just thirty minutes drive, you reach Cala Gonone and the Gulf of Orosei coast, whose pristine turquoise sea and white beaches are among the most beautiful in Sardinia.
In these setting, since 1981, we have accompanied and continue to accompany our guests and holidaymakers with competence, experience and reliability.
To demonstrate the cross section of diverse cultures found in the Barbagia ethnic groups, we can accompany and guide you around the remote neighbouring hinterland villages of Orgosolo, Mamoiada, Nuoro, Bitti, Orune and Gavoi, every day of the year. Yes, every day of the year.
